Snowsports Academy

Snowsports Academy will not be running for the 2024 season. 

We are running Rainbow Rippers which  is a ski only programme with the aim of building skills, exploring the mountain, having fun and making friends amongst our amazing Rainbow Ski community. It is 3 x three hour sessions of tuition. Ages 7 -12

The Snowsports Academy is our seasonal alpine adventure programme helping to develop your skills so you can be the best skier and snowboarder possible. If you are aged between 4-17 years old, and you are an intermediate/advanced skier or snowboarder then this is the programme for you. (please note, there are no level 1 classes offered in this programme).

the details

  • The initial role has 80 positions available daily. Historically, these sell out. Some more may be added if demand and staffing levels can be met.
  • Lessons start 31 July 2022 (first weekend after the school holidays). Two weekends will be held as backup dates if the weather forces us to close during the normal programme. These backup dates are 24 & 25 September and 1 & 2 October to be advised by Management, weather/snow depending. 
  • Helmets are required to participate in the Rainbow Snowsports Academy.
  • Programme fees do not cover lift passes or rental equipment.
  • We require a minimum of 4 registrations per group for that group to proceed, if we have fewer than the minimum required the timing/ frequency of the programme may be subject to change.
  • A monetary refund will only occur in the case of injury or illness with a doctor’s certificate or if we cannot open for the season due to COVID-19 restrictions. 
  • All cancellations will be subject to a $30 administration fee.  Any cancellations within 96 hrs prior to the programme starting will not be eligible for credit.
