Finally the cold weather has arrived and delivered the goods! With the new snowfalls over the last two weeks, and the dump received today, we are re-opening the field this Saturday 4th September. We have had to make the difficult decision to suspend operations after this Sunday, due to continued unfavourable snow conditions, which have left the field running on a lower than usual snow base. A season of snow storms from the south-east and warm rainy conditions from the north have resulted in less than desirable snow coverage for skiing and riding at Rainbow, and consequently lower than normal visitor numbers. The T-Bar is now open all of the way to the top of the mountain. Fresh snow fall over the last two days has added enough to our existing base to give great conditions from top to bottom. Easy Way is also now open providing beginner and intermediate access to the base from the T-Bar.
