Jo and Jude Rainey live in Nelson where Jo is a manager for NZ Trade & Enterprise. Jo has been an actively involved with Rainbow Sports Club since its formation, and has been a committee member since 2007. Adult kids Libby Annie and Tom all learnt to ski and board at Rainbow.
Peter has spent every winter since 1979 skiing as much as he can, and some summers too, to the detriment of his bank balance and career. His current bent is for ski touring. Chairman of Rainbow Sports Club from 2008 to 2012, Peter now stirs things from the comparative comfort of the committee side-lines, having passed the torch onto Jo Rainey. Peter and Tina have two children, Ben who is a professional ski patroller, and Amy who is currently a Victoria University student.
Hamish has been actively involved with Rainbow since re-opening in 2004. Looking after Marketing and communications for Rainbow– Hamish and Sali have 3 children who all love skiing. Hamish is Director of a local export company Flightcell International, and other interests include Skiing, Swimming, Tramping and Sailing.
Andrew is a principal with Crowe Horwath accountants and lives in Nelson with Mandy and two children Charlotte and Olivia. He has been involved with the Rainbow Committee since August 2010 but skied there as a child and has loved seeing his children learn to ski at Rainbow.
