We're celebrating the start of Daylight Saving this weekend with extended opening hours this Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September. On both days the T-Bar, Nelson Contracting Intermediate Platter, Terrain Park and the Beginner lifts will stay running until 5pm (weather permitting). So, that means you can have a long relaxed lunch at the cafe or picnic in the car park, and still get out for some great runs in the afternoon.
The snow is still in great condition, and there's still plenty of it. All Rainbow facilities will be operating this weekend including Snow School for lessons, Rentals, Cafe, Shuttles, all lifts, Terrain Park, and all Rainbow terrain is ridable top to bottom.
Now's the time to get out and explore Rainbow's huge off-piste terrain if you've spent most of the winter riding the main trails - there are great runs to be had in West Bowl, Planets, Boulder Ride, East Face and Allan's Way. If you're feeling energetic then a hike up 6-1 from West Bowl will be rewarded with a great run down - but don't forget to check in with Ski Patrol before heading up there.
Mt Lyford Season Pass holders - come on up to Rainbow and get a discount on your day pass purchase - $20 off for an adult, $15 for student, and $10 for youth/senior.
Remember all children under 7 ski or ride for FREE.
